The presence of calcium &magnesium(known as hardness) lead to the formation of scale which in turn results into clogging of pipelines and fixtures, scaling of boiler tubes, cooling towers fins, solar heater coils or stains on fabric. The Water softener removes the hardness in feed water. This is a resin based unit which requires charging with salt at periodic intervals based on designed specifications. The unit is available in manual and automatic option.
